The Hungry Lion Tour is a GREAT was to cap off a season of biking in Southern Vermont (and New Hampshire and Western Massachusetts)!  My husband and I participated in the 2012 ride, and had so much fun, that we are already planning to ride again in 2013.  September is a beautiful time of year to be touring through the back roads of Vermont, and the Lions club “crew” kept us well fed.  Perhaps most importantly, I felt pretty good about being able to raise some money for a very worthy cause – helping those people right here in our area who regularly struggle to afford nutritious meals for themselves and their families.

As primarily an 'off-roader', I had a great time! Super folks, camaraderie, beautiful rolling route filled w/lush countryside and wildlife popping out. Fabulous opportunity to help out locally and have fun too. Bring some friends!

I am so excited that I am going to be available to ride the Hungry Lion Bike Tour again this year.  This is the best tour I have done even though last year the weather was not my favorite (wet and cloudy) the route is awesome.  The organizers of this event and the volunteers are the best and most friendly.  I am so looking forward to it…The end of September is the best riding in southern Vermont with the dramatic foliage and nice temperatures.  Keep up the good work for an awesome cause and count me in for this year.
